Friends , I am in need of assistance on cramer’s rule, equivalent fractions, mixed numbers and 3x3 system of equations. Since I am a beginner to Intermediate algebra, I really want to understand the bedrocks of Intermediate algebra completely. Can anyone recommend the best resource with which I can start learning the basics? I have a midterm next week.

Kids can’t seem to think of anything beyond tutoring. Why don’t you try something yourself? There are many resources for learn basic algebra which are much better than tutoring. Try Algebrator, and you will never need a tutor.

I have tried a number of math programs . I would not name them here, but they were useless. I hope this one is not like the others.

I remember having often faced problems with monomials, side-angle-side similarity and converting decimals. A really great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – Algebra 1, Pre Algebra and College Algebra. I greatly recommend the program.

Visit http://www.algebra-equation.com/solving-linear-equations-1.html and you can get all the details about this tool. I would advice you to try it at least once. All it takes is thirty minutes to get familiar to the software.
