Hi! Our class just started discussing a new chapter in algebra regarding convert square metre to lineal metre and I did good for most homeworks we got but the latest one my teacher gave really hard so I'd appreciate if somebody will help me to understand it! It’s a problem solving assignment my algebra professor gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried solving it but still can’t get it right. I just can’t answer it with ease unlike the other assignments. I had an easy time solving my past homeworks but this particular homework with specific topic of quadratic equations gives me difficulty just discovering how to begin. I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really appreciate if somebody help me in discussing the steps and how to solve it in a systematic and clear way.

I maybe able to help you if you can be more specific and give more details about convert square metre to lineal metre. A proper software would be best option rather than a math tutor. After trying a number of program I found the Algebrator to be the best I have so far found . It solves any algebra problem from your book . It also clarifies all the steps (of the solution). You can just write it down as your homework . However, you should use it to learn algebra, and simply not use it to copy answers.

I must agree that Algebrator is a great thing and the best program of this kind you can find. I was thrilled when after weeks of frustration I simply typed in slope and that was the end of my difficulties with algebra . It's also great that you can use the program for any level: I have been using it for several years now, I used it in Remedial Algebra and in Intermediate algebra too ! Just try it and see it for yourself!

Thanks for the detailed information , this sounds great . I wanted something exactly like Algebrator, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and gives the final result, I want something that can actually explain me how the exercise needs to be solved. That way I can learn it and after that solve it without any help , not just copy the results. Where can I find the software?

Hey Friends, I had a chance to check out Algebrator offered at http://www.algebraequation.com/linearequations.html yesterday. I am really very grateful to you all for directing me to Algebrator. The quick formula list and the detailed explanations on the fundamentals given there were really understandable. I have finished and turned in my homework on inverse matrices and this was all possible only with the help of the Algebrator that I bought based on your recommendations here. Thanks a ton .

I remember having problems with factoring, graphing lines and matrices. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes Intermediate algebra, Basic Math and Algebra 1. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
