Hi, I am a freshman in high school and I am having trouble with my homework. One of my problems is dealing with fractions as the power in polynomials; can anyone help me understand what it is all about? I need to complete this asap. Thanks for helping.

How about some more particulars on your difficulty with fractions as the power in polynomials? I might be able to help you with . If you are not able to get a good guidance or some one to sit and sort out your trouble or if if it is too expensive , then there might be another easy way out . There are some good math software that you can look into . I tried them out myself. It came across to me as excellent as any tutor can be. I would select Algebrator for the kind of answer that you are seeking . What is smart about it is that it assists you step by step to the answer rather than merely giving the answer. Why not try it out?

I have tried a number of math programs . I would not name them here, but they were of no use . I hope this one is not like the others.

I remember having difficulties with interval notation, linear equations and midpoint of a line. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 2, Pre Algebra and Intermediate algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
