I have a way out for you and trust me it’s even better than buying a new textbook. Try Algebrator, it covers a pretty comprehensive list of mathematical topics and is highly recommended. It’ll help you solve various types of questions and it’ll also address all your enquiries as to how it came up with a particular solution . I tried it when I was having difficulty solving problems based on web application for dividing polynomials and I really enjoyed using it.

Yeah, I think so too . Algebrator explains everything in such great detail that even a amateur can learn the tricks of the trade, and crack some of the most difficult mathematical problems. It explains each and every intermediate step that it took to reach a certain solution with such perfection that you’ll learn a lot from it.
