Hello Math Gurus! I am a starting at worksheets and free and graphing and linear and functions. I seem to understand the lectures in the class properly , but when I start to solve the problems at home myself, I commit errors . Does anyone know of any website where I can get my answers checked before submitting them for grading? Or any resource where I can get to see a step by step solution? |

You really shouldn’t have spent money on a math tutor. Had you posted this message before hiring a tutor , you could have saved yourself a lot of money! Anyway, what’s done is done . Now to make sure that you do well in your exams I would suggest using Algebrator. It’s a user-friendly software. It can solve the really tough ones for you, and what’s even cooler is the fact that it can even explain how to go about solving it! There used to be a time when even I was having difficulty understanding function composition, difference of cubes and radical expressions. But thanks to Algebrator, it’s all good now . |

I remember I faced similar difficulties with absolute values, logarithms and cramer’s rule. This Algebrator is rightly a great piece of algebra software program. This would simply give step by step solution to any math problem that I copied from workbook on clicking on Solve. I have been able to use the program through several Algebra 2, Algebra 2 and Pre Algebra. I seriously recommend the program. |

I remember having difficulties with powers, distance of points and graphing function. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Intermediate algebra, Intermediate algebra and Algebra 2. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended. |

Friends , Thanks a lot for the responses that you have given . I just had a look at the Algebrator available at: https://algebra-equation.com/linearequations.html. The interesting part that I liked was the money back guarantee that they are extending there. I went ahead and bought Algebrator. It is really user friendly and turns up to be a noteworthy tool for Remedial Algebra. |
