Hi, I need some urgent help on why is it important to simplify radical expressions before adding or subtracting. I’ve searched through various websites for topics like graphing circles and reducing fractions but none could help me solve my problem relating to why is it important to simplify radical expressions before adding or subtracting. I have a test in a few days from now and if I don’t start working on my problem then I might not pass my exam. I’ve even tried calling a few of my peers, but they seem to be struggling as well . So guys, please guide me.

Algebrator truly is a masterpiece for us algebra students. As my dear friend said in the preceding post, not only does it solve questions but it also explains all the intermediary steps involved in reaching that eventual result. That way apart from knowing the final answer, we also learn how to go about solving questions right from the first step till the last, and it helps a lot in working on assignments.
